Mercedes Sanchez is an award-winning blogger. She’s been described as an online influencer by national brands.
Her career kicked off when she wrote for the New York Post’s Tempo — a monthly insert on Latino related arts and culture. She then went on to handle publicity for former Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion as a deputy press officer. A love for producing started when NBC called her to work for their Emmy award-winning morning show “Today In New York”.
She doesn’t just blog. Mercedes also creates original video for BeChicTV- a lifestyle Web series where she interviews designers and experts such as Vera Wang, Anna Wintour, John Leguizamo, Nigel Barker, Beyonce’s makeup artist Jackie Gomez, Latina Magazine’s Galina Espinoza and many others.
Mercedes Sanchez is a native New Yorker where she resides today. She enjoys reading, searching for new stories and shopping in SoHo and NoLita late Sunday mornings.
